Am I eligible for recruitment?
You must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at Chapman University for the Spring 2019 term. All current students participating in recruitment must have successfully completed a minimum of 12 credits at Chapman University. Students transferring to Chapman for the Spring 2019 semester must have completed 12 transferable credits of college-level coursework from another college or university that Chapman has accepted or is in the process of accepting.
The Chapman sorority average GPA is 3.4. Women who have below a 2.5 are ineligible to participate in recruitment.
To help students understand how their GPA may affect their primary recruitment experience, the Panhellenic Council created Grade Zones to show how academics may factor into primary recruitment:
Green Zone: Your options are not likely limited based on your GPA. (3.0+)
Yellow Zone: Your options are more likely to be limited by your GPA (2.5-2.99)
Red Zone: You are ineligible to participate in recruitment based on your GPA (Below 2.5)
If you are planning on participating in recruitment you must be back on campus by 3:45PM on January 29th and go through the recruitment process until February 2nd.
Are you unsure if you are eligible or have any questions? Please email firstname.lastname@example.org

Sorority recruitment is an exciting learning and growing experience. A time to discover the many opportunities that sorority life has to offer. This is where you learn about each sorority as they present their values and philanthropies as well as obligations, time commitments, and membership requirements. As you visit each chapter, you will meet the sorority members and discover how each individual contributes to their sorority in a unique way and how the sorority contributes to campus life and the community. Formal recruitment consists of four rounds of parties where potential new members and sorority women participate in a mutual selection process for potential new members to possibly join one of Chapman University’s great NPC sororities.
